Following the racially motivated attack and killing of three Black people at the Dollar General Store in Jacksonville, an invitation was extended by the faith community to Bishop William J. Barber, II, President of Repairers of the Breach to lead a Campaign of TAKING BACK THE MIC AND BEING SILENT NO MORE! Before the March and Rally to the Jacksonville City Hall where hundreds gathered a ‘Cease-and-Desist' letter signed by thousands was delivered to the Governor’s Office in Tallahassee demanding that Governor Ron DeSantis stop the deception and distraction and address the real issues impacting Florida’s 7,617.260 poor and low-wealth people.

Bishop Barber was invited by the faith community and others to return to Jacksonville

and joined us in Jacksonville on Saturday, December 2nd for a Conversation with Bishop Barber and others on Faith in the Public Square and the need for a Ministry and Movement of Justice and Love in Action.
